RUCO's Joint Letter with Other Community and Charitable Organizations Regarding Customer Disconnects

Within 12 hours of the Arizona Corporation Commission Staff releasing their proposed Emergency Rules regarding customer disconnects, RUCO worked closely with the experts on this issue, including Wildfire (formerly known as Arizona Community Action Association), Arizona PIRG Education Fund, and St. Vincent de Paul to try and mitigate harm to ratepayers. Unfortunately, the Commission did not agree to the groups recommendation. RUCO will continue to monitor this situation, in conjunction with these other organizations, to ensure ratepayers are adequately protected.
